Job summary

Acosta Military Sales, LLC is seeking a Delivery Driver with a CDL Class A to service activities in the local distribution network in California. You will inspect vehicles, review schedules, and deliver shipments to customers with accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include loading, routing, receiving and warehouse help as needed, while maintaining documentation and sign-offs. Valid CDL A and forklift certification are required, along with a driver license and a year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent in industry name required.
• Certification/License: (CDL Class A) Forklift Certification
• 1-year+ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before each trip to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Review delivery schedule and plan route to minimize driving time while ensuring safety.
• Load and secure merchandise in truck or trailer and verify quantities with shipping documents.
• Deliver shipments on time at designated locations and obtain receipt signatures.
• Report location upon arrival/departure and inform supervisor of delays or issues.
• Assist with receiving, storage and picking of materials in the Distribution Center.
