Job Description

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs.
2. Transport product between backroom and display floor using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and handtrucks.
3. Replenish, face, and rotate products; build and take down displays; maintain signage; clean spaces; secure damaged products.
4. Manage backroom inventory, organize backstock, and report inventory levels.
5. Evaluate and process damaged or defective products.
6. Operate powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) and complete store documentation.
7. Maintain safety standards and follow company policies.
8. Provide customer service by assisting store personnel and consumers.
9. Operate a motor vehicle as needed.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in a related environment involving heavy lifting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Certification in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manual handling of objects up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for 6 hours, walk 4 miles, and perform physically demanding tasks. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities. Punctuality and adherence to delivery schedules are essential.
