Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs, transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck), utilizing hand tools, replenishing, facing, and rotating product, building, changing, and taking down product displays, maintaining signage, cleaning, and securing damaged or defective product.
2. Managing backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock, identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels, evaluating and processing damaged or defective product, re-packing, organizing backroom materials, and operating powered and manual equipment.
3. Completing store documentation, cleaning backroom, and maintaining areas of responsibility by communicating with store and company personnel.
4. Identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions, attending and completing company training and certifications, following policies and laws, utilizing mobile devices, and operating a motor vehicle.
5. Providing customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, locating products, and assisting store personnel.
6. Performing other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
• Six (6) months of work experience in a relevant environment involving heavy lifting and multi-temperature conditions.
• Reliable automobile, valid driver license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience and problem solving.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and powered pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects up to 50 pounds, standing at least 6 hours, walking at least 4 miles per day, and working in various physical positions.
