Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product using manual equipment; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning; and securing damaged product.
2. Managing backroom organization, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting backstock levels.
3. Evaluating and processing damaged or defective product, re-packing, and organizing backroom materials.
4. Operating powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
5. Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
6. Communicating with store and company personnel about responsibilities, safety concerns, and status updates.
7. Following company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
8. Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
9. Providing customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting in locating products.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

1. Must be at least 18 years old and meet state legal age requirements.
2. Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting and physical activity.
3. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
6. Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

1. Beverage industry experience.
2. Customer service experience and problem-solving skills.
3. One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
4. Certifications in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack operation.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects weighing up to 50 pounds; standing for at least 6 hours; walking at least 4 miles; and working in various physical positions.
