Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities

1. Maintains product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck); replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building, changing, and taking down product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective product.
2. Manages backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock (product).
3. Identifies, monitors, and reports backstock inventory levels.
4. Evaluates and processes damaged or defective product.
5. Re-packs product.
6. Organizes backroom materials (e.g., pallets, product shells).
7. Operates powered equipment (e.g., straddle stacker, powered pallet jack) and manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack).
8. Completes store documentation.
9. Maintains areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating with store and company personnel.
10. Identifies and reports unsafe working conditions.
11. Attends and completes company training and certifications; follows policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
12. Follows applicable laws and utilizes a mobile device for work activities.
13. Operates a motor vehicle.
14. Provides customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, locating products, and assisting store personnel.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
2. Six months of relevant work experience (e.g., warehouse, construction, grocery, healthcare, etc.).
3. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
6. Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering objects up to 50 lbs.
• Standing at least 6 hours, walking at least 4 miles daily.
• Ability to read small to large print.
• Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
• Overtime and punctuality are essential due to delivery schedules and DOT hours.
