Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transport product between backroom and display floor using manual equipment (e.g., pallet jack, handtruck); replenish, face, and rotate product; build and take down displays; maintain signage; clean and secure damaged product.
• Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock, monitor inventory levels, and report discrepancies.
• Evaluate and process damaged or defective product, re-pack as needed, and organize backroom materials.
• Operate powered (e.g., straddle stacker, pallet jack) and manual equipment; complete store documentation; maintain cleanliness of backroom.
• Communicate with store and company personnel regarding status and concerns; identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete company training and certifications; adhere to policies and laws; utilize mobile devices for work activities; operate a motor vehicle.
• Provide customer service to consumers and store personnel by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of relevant work experience involving heavy lifting and physical activity.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Operate manual transport equipment over distances.
• Read small to large print, stand for 6+ hours, walk at least 4 miles daily.
• Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
