Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities (May Include, But Not Limited To)

• Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers; identifying replenishment needs; transporting products; replenishing, facing, and rotating products; building and taking down displays; maintaining signage; cleaning and securing damaged products.
• Managing backroom inventory, organizing backstock, and identifying inventory levels.
• Evaluating damaged products, re-packing, and organizing backroom materials.
• Operating powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
• Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
• Communicating with store and company personnel about status and concerns.
• Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Following company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating motor vehicles.
• Providing customer service by resolving concerns and assisting store personnel.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 18 years old or meeting state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in related environments involving heavy lifting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• One year of experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and manipulating objects up to 50 lbs.
• Operating manual and powered equipment over distances.
• Standing for at least 6 hours and walking at least 4 miles daily.
• Ability to read various print sizes and perform physical activities with accommodations if needed.
