Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Ocala, FL is seeking CDL drivers for East Coast dry van runs with reliable home time every two weeks. New CDL holders train with pay, then move to solo runs along the Eastern seaboard.

Orientation is short; training pay is $650 per week for 4–6 weeks, followed by a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months solo. Expect about 2,500 miles weekly, $15 stop pay, and average weekly pay of $1,200–$1,400. Benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, 120 hours CDL school minimum
• Trainees welcome. Experienced: 6 months in the last 12 or 12 months in the last 5 years
• DD214 considered
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, nothing serious in 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug test, 3 years verifiable work history

Responsibilities

• Drive East Coast dry van with home time every two weeks
• Maintain safe driving and compliance with hours-of-service rules
• Deliver freight efficiently to Eastern seaboard customers
