Job summary

Sysco's Sygma Pennsylvania delivery team in Carlisle, PA is seeking dedicated Delivery Drivers to transport and unload food products from the warehouse to customer locations on a tractor-trailer. You will adhere to safety protocols, complete logs, and maintain product integrity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Overtime, overnight shifts, and weekend work are common, with paid training and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to read and speak English.
• Safe lifting and delivery practices with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart.

Responsibilities

• Transport product from warehouse to customer locations and deliver according to invoices and standards.
• Unload goods by hand or with a hand cart; verify per company procedures and safe handling.
• Complete DOT logs, vehicle inspections, and post-trip reports; maintain safety and sanitation.
• Develop good relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication.
