Job summary

Sysco is seeking Delivery Drivers for the Sygma Pennsylvania network. You will drive a tractor trailer, deliver and unload products to customers, scan items, and ensure invoices match.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to read and speak English. Training is provided, with paid training and potential overtime; overnight routes and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and to understand highway signs and to make entries on reports.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products from the tractor trailer to customer locations per invoices and company standards.
• Unload items from trailer by hand or with a hand cart; scan products as delivered to the store.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in the tractor, trailer, and warehouse as required.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
