Job summary

Sysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution. The Sygma Carolina unit seeks a dependable tractor-trailer driver to transport product from the warehouse and deliver to customers safely and on time according to invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities include unloading, scanning deliveries, and maintaining required paperwork (DOT logs, inspections, reports). You will follow food-safety protocols and safety practices, with occasional night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred
• Commercial Drivers must read/speak English sufficiently to interact with the public and complete records

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer locations on assigned routes
• Unloads product by hand or with a hand cart per procedures and stores it as directed
• Completes paperwork accurately (DOT logs, inspections, delivery reports) on a daily basis
• Follows food safety protocols and maintains sanitary trailer/warehouse conditions
• Adheres to safe work methods and communicates any unsafe conditions to management
• Operates equipment and performs duties within the safe, efficient scope of practice
