Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a home daily overnight linehaul driver based in Pontiac. You will depart from your home terminal, drive to another Central Transport facility, and return to your home terminal, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

The role requires 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days, and a clean MVR with no recent DUI. DOT drug screening and hair follicle testing are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI within the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Overnight linehaul driving from Pontiac to another Central Transport facility and back.
• Operate a tractor-trailer safely and maintain logs as required.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies.
