Job summary

Central Transport in Oakland is hiring home daily overnight linehaul drivers to run routes from our Oakland terminal to other Central Transport facilities and back home. drivers are the backbone of our operation, delivering reliable service every day to support customer expectations and partnerships.

The role requires 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain within 60 days), an acceptable MVR, no DUI in 5 years, and the ability to pass a

Qualifications

• 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement, or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUIs within the last 5 years (max 1 lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Operate home daily overnight linehaul routes starting from Oakland.
• Deliver reliable, on-time service to strengthen partnerships and win new business.

Central Transport is currently seeking home daily overnight linehaul drivers. As a linehaul driver, you would leave from Oakland, drive to another Central Transport facility, and then return to your home terminal.

Our Home-Daily Line Haul Drivers are the backbone of our operation. By delivering reliable, on-time service every day, you enable us to exceed customer expectations, strengthen existing partnerships, and win new business.
