Job summary

Central Transport is actively seeking home daily overnight linehaul drivers starting from Portland. You will depart from your home terminal, drive to another Central Transport facility, and return home each day.

This role emphasizes dependable, on-time service to exceed customer expectations and strengthen partnerships. Competitive benefits accompany industry-leading schedules and a modern fleet, with a requirement to obtain HazMat/Tanker endorsements within 60 days and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Home daily overnight line haul driver routes: depart from Portland, travel to another Central Transport facility, then return to your home terminal.
• Deliver reliable, on-time service every day to support customer expectations and partnerships.
