Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking professional truck drivers to deliver freight nationwide from our Minnesota hubs. Enjoy home nightly and weekends with starting pay of $33.77 per hour on the first shift, with flatbed and curtain side trailers and no tarping required.

Our fleet features new, safe, reliable equipment and comprehensive benefits. You will securely strap loads, manage PODs, and interact with customers while maintaining DOT compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and safe driving record.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in past 3 years.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• Ability to secure loads and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
