Job summary

CRH, through Oldcastle, is seeking a CDL A truck driver to pickup and deliver palletized block, mortar, and materials to job sites. You will operate a flatbed and drive in compliance with state and federal regulations, with local deliveries and nightly home time.

Responsibilities include receiving invoices, following dispatcher instructions, performing pre-trip inspections, and reporting safety or equipment issues promptly. Candidates must have a high school diploma and a CDL A license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a CDL A license.
• Experience operating a forklift/moffet.
• Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and all other materials to job site in a safe manner.
• Receive from dispatcher invoice for materials, directions to job site and any special instructions.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report any concerns.
• Operate tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws and safety regulations.
• Monitor and immediately report problems with equipment, product quality, customer satisfaction and traffic.
