Job summary

contractlumber in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a CDL-A truck driver for local routes. You will load, secure, and deliver material, inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements, and maintain all required paperwork.

This full-time, first-shift position runs Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with overtime available. You are home every night and eligible for comprehensive benefits, profit sharing and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL-A license.
• Driving record must meet DOT requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Team-oriented attitude and good communication.
• Willing to learn forklift/piggyback equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material as required.
• Inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy and ensure it is secured before departure.
