Contract Lumber, Inc. in Statesville, North Carolina is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver for local runs. Home every night with Monday–Friday, 1st shift. 40 hours/week with overtime possible.

Pay range $24-$28 per hour. Full benefits, profit sharing and 401(k) are offered. Load, deliver, inspect, and maintain all required paperwork while ensuring safety and load accuracy. Responsibilities include communicating effectively with management and customers, and maintaining a positive attitude to support

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Driving record must meet DOT requirements.
• Hardworking, responsible and motivated.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn piggyback or Princeton forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Inspect delivery vehicles to DOT standards.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Ensure loads are safely secured before leaving yard or job site.
• Communicate clearly with staff and customers.
