Airgas, Inc. in Santa Fe Springs, CA is hiring a CDL A Driver to deliver compressed gas cylinders from a branch or plant using company equipment. The role involves loading, unloading, and safely handling cylinders, with a Monday–Friday schedule and weekend support as needed.

You should have a valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Airbrake endorsements, up to two traffic convictions in 3 years, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. Airgas offers a comprehensive benefits package and company match 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat & Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• No DUI in last 7 years; able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Capable of lifting 75 lbs and moving 125+ lbs with equipment.
• At least 1 year of CDL driving in last 5 years or recent trucking school completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Nurture courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Support deliveries in a timely manner and safely secure/unsecure cylinders.
• Complete deliveries on customer sites using a hand cart; physical work emphasized.
• Drive company tractors, semis, or box trucks to local/regional customers.
• Frequent vehicle entry/exit as part of daily routine.
