Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Corbin, KY for a local, home-daily route. You will drive a Day Cab with a 53' dry van and be responsible for no-touch freight on auto parts accounts, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Enjoy a weekly guarantee, pay between $275-$310 per day, and a Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays. You will be supported by a nationwide network and 24/7 maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Must pass a Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from prior employers for the last 3 years.
• Must have a valid CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
