Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Normal, IL is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver for local, home daily routes. Earn $29.00 per hour with 50+ hours weekly, plus $1.00 shift pay. Weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Position features a $250 safety bonus quarterly and a $1500 sign-on at 30 days plus another $1500 at 90 days. Schedule is Monday–Friday with weekends during peak demand. Start time typically 6:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with endorsements as required for the position.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and background check including motor vehicle records.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years within past 5 years, OR 5 years within past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
