Job summary

Cornerstone Driver Solutions is seeking a dedicated CDL-A local driver for a Columbus, OH operation. You’ll run local and regional routes, return home after every shift, with mostly no-touch freight and late-model automatic trucks. Expect daily home time and a stable weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of current CDL-A tractor-trailer experience.
• Solo driving experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to meet all applicable DOT requirements.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Ability to work the required 6-day schedule.
• Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company tractor on established dedicated routes.
• Transport freight for a major national retail account.
• Complete local and regional routes.
• Operate approximately 200–450 miles per day.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain required logs and documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch throughout your shift.
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Safely operate company equipment.
• Return to the terminal after completing your route.
