Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in Walton, KY is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time. You will serve as a company ambassador and provide exceptional service while representing the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

This role is local, so you’ll be home every night. Requirements include a valid CDL A, HS diploma or GED, minimum 2 years of DOT-regulated commercial driving, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 45

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys).
• Adhere to safety requirements and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
