Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A driver for a local Chicago-area route with home daily time. You will haul retail freight on local routes, performing mostly drop-and-hook work and occasional pallet-jack unloading, with a six-day schedule and nightly driving.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.

• Occasional pallet-jack unloading may be required.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area.
• Complete a minimum of two loads per day.
• Handle mostly drop-and-hook freight to minimize downtime.
• Unloading pallet-jack tasks are paid when required.
• Maintain safe driving practices on local roadways.
