Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring a CDL-A City P&D Driver for our West Salem, WI Service Center. You will perform city deliveries and pickups with daily home time, handling multiple stops and customer interaction. The role includes scanning freight and operating equipment safely.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts and local routes. A DOT physical, drug screen, and road test are required to validate qualifications and ensure reliable performance every day.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• 1 year of verifiable Class A driving in past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR/PSP) with limited violations.
• Age 23 (21 if FMCSA military|civilian transition rules).
• Ability to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight within city using scanning equipment.
• Return to terminal daily with multiple stops per shift.
• Complete potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack.
