Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route. Drivers should build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude and understand customer operations to meet needs.

Qualified candidates will have a valid Class A CDL, pass employment testing, be 21+, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing.
• Valid Class A CDL with insurability standard.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Touch freight and lift 40-100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations.
• Maintain assigned route schedule and timely deliveries.
• Build positive relationships with customers using a friendly attitude.
• Adhere to safety policies and all company procedures.
