Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is hiring a dependable Company Driver to haul freight across our regional lanes. The role offers steady miles, a team that looks out for you, and a clear pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers.

Pneumatic Drivers – Local with home daily, starting compensation at 25% of line haul and increases to 28% after 90 days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, HazMat cert coverage, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.
