Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Jackson, MI. You will build relationships with customers while delivering essential food products to various facilities. Day shifts with home-time guarantees on local routes, with duties including unloading up to 100 lbs and using ramp/two-wheeler.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4–6 AM. Compensation ranges from $85k to $95k per year, with weekly pay and guaranteed minimums. Benefits start day one and include profit sharing & 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to unload up to 350 lbs with a two-wheel cart and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Registration through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and institutions.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and manage loading/unloading equipment (ramp, two-wheeler).
• Maintain safety and reliability on local routes and be home daily.
