Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC is seeking an experienced CDL-A truck driver to transport and deliver freight in and around Ohio. The role requires compliance with DOT regulations, accurate documentation, and safe loading/unloading practices.

You will maintain logs, interact with dispatch, and ensure timely, safe delivery while meeting all company and regulatory requirements. This position emphasizes reliability, physical capability, and safety-conscious driving.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read road signs, shipping documents, and work instructions.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with management and clients.
• Must meet DOT safety standards and FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial motor vehicle to transport and deliver freight.
• Maintain logs and records as required by state and federal regulations.
• Inspect vehicle pre- and post-trip and report any issues.
• Obtain client signatures and document shipment details accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure cargo as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch for new routes or schedules.
• Meet DOT medical and safety requirements.
