Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A Driver to support our Distribution Center. You will deliver and pickup general freight to and from our warehousing facility or customer locations, while following DOT regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include local home-daily routes, operating a day cab with a 53-foot trailer, and maintaining shipping docs. The role requires safe driving and strong customer service, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of driving experience.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and physical assessment. Our company participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries (home daily).
• Operate manual transmission day cab with 53-foot trailer (local routes).
• Maintain knowledge of DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation, including: Freight bills, Bills of Lading (BOLs), Over-Short-Damage (OSD) reports, Manifests, Driver logs.
• Adhere to all safety policies in warehouse, docks, driving, loading, and unloading operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Perform pre- and post-dispatch equipment inspections.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment.
