Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Class A commercial driver to safely transport and deliver freight across local, regional, and potentially interstate routes. You will read shipping documents, maintain electronic logs, and coordinate with the dispatch team to receive assignments.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with current medical card, at least one year of driving experience, and the ability to read English documents.

Qualifications

• One year or more of driving experience in the equipment type.
• Must be able to read road signs, maps, and shipping documents.
• Must read and converse in English to communicate with management, clients, and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial motor vehicle (truck) to transport and deliver freight.
• Maintain contact with dispatch or supervisor for new assignments.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Obtain client signatures and note shipper load and count status, delivery condition, and seal status.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed and adhere to DOT safety standards.
• Maintain shipping paperwork records and comply with regulations.
