Job summary

PARR is seeking a Class A CDL driver to join our local delivery team in Maryland, delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites. You will operate flatbed trucks with a truck-mounted forklift, ensuring on-time, safe deliveries and maintaining strong customer service with dispatch and yard staff.

The role offers home-daily local routes, a day shift, overtime eligibility, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required
• Flatbed or construction delivery experience preferred
• Forklift/Moffett experience preferred (training available)
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 lbs. and work outdoors in all-weather
• Strong work ethic and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to customer job sites
• Operate class A and B flatbed trucks and truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett)
• Secure loads and verify accuracy before leaving the yard
• Navigate a variety of delivery environments including new developments and rural roads
• Take delivery photos and complete documentation for each job
• Communicate with dispatch, yard teams, and customers throughout the day
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and safety regulations
