Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Local CDL A Driver to join our Wichita team on a route-delivery role. You will operate a company vehicle, unload and load freight, and complete paperwork in a safety-first environment.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm and 2pm–Midnight. Pay: $30 per hour. Requirements include valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, 1 year driving experience, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain, and the ability to pass a pre-employment skills assessment.

Qualifications

• CDL A required (Class A)
• 21+ years old
• 1 year commercial driving experience
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain
• Pre-employment skills assessment required

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Delivers and/or picks up freight to/from customer locations and/or a terminal as instructed by dispatch
• Ensures shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipment to delivery point
• Loads and/or unloads freight with/without mechanical assistance at customer locations and terminals
