Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience with a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record with no DOT-defined accidents in three years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and company policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read BOLs and freight logs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate trailer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues with proper documentation.
• Comply with DOT rules and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Verify delivery instructions and logs.
• Report defects or incidents.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisor and dispatcher.
• Deliver within local routes up to 150 miles.
