PDM Company is seeking a dedicated Driver to operate a Class A tractor-trailer on local routes in Des Moines, IA. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and outstanding customer service as you return home daily.

You will handle pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure compliance with DOT rules, and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules. This full-time position requires a clean record and the ability to work independently and with diverse teams.

Qualificações

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Bulk Tanker Endorsement.
• Hazmat Endorsement within first 90 days.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer) to complete local deliveries and pick-ups.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Load, unload, and secure freight using proper equipment and safety practices (as applicable).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Follow assigned route schedules and adjust to traffic or weather-related delays as needed.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.
• Report incidents, accidents, or delivery issues promptly and accurately.
• Follow all SOPs for loading, unloading, and signing BOLs.
