Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner. You’ll be a company ambassador, interact with customers, and enjoy the benefit of being home every night.

Responsibilities include drop-off/pickup, operating trucks/low-boys per CDL-A, maintaining logs, and upholding safety standards. Minimum 2 years DOT driving, HS diploma or GED, and excellent customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (low boys) with CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSR guidelines.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
