Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a CDL Driver in Jacksonville, FL, to ensure safe and timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant regulations. Applicants must hold a valid commercial driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, the ability to manage heavy loads, and good communication abilities. This safety-sensitive position includes pre-employment drug testing and background verification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) indicating no more than 2 violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
• Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using the most effective route.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring proper securing of products.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations.

Skills

Excellent customer service skills

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds

Education

Valid commercial driver’s license, preferably with HAZMAT endorsement
