Job summary

Central Transport in Terre Haute, IN is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to operate modern equipment on local home daily routes. You will deliver freight on time and be responsible for unloading trailers at the end of each route.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI in last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer after completing daily route.
• Be the face of the company and support customer relations.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
