Job summary

Central Transport in South Bend, IN is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers who enjoy home daily routes and consistent schedules. You will deliver freight, unload trailers, and represent a trusted LTL carrier with a strong safety record.

Qualifications include 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days, a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
• Operate modern equipment and maintain professional appearance.
