Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers for our Montpelier, VT location. You will perform local, home-daily routes, delivering freight on time and damage-free while unloading trailers at the end of each run.

We offer industry-leading pay and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, company HSA contributions, and life insurance. HazMat/Tanker endorsements are preferred or you can obtain them within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record with no DUIs in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload freight on local routes, ensuring on-time delivery and damage-free handling.
• Maintain safe driving practices and customer service during daily pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days Acceptable motor vehicle record No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime) Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
