DSV in Kent, WA is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver to manage regional deliveries with care and professionalism. You will be home daily, operate a CDL A vehicle, and uphold DOT regulations while providing white-glove service on high-value freight.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A License required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years (3+ years preferred).
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41).
• Experience in local P&D operations, multi-stop routing, and urban driving environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of load securement and freight handling.
• TWIC card (or ability to obtain within 90 days, if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform local pickup and delivery routes; home daily.
• Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle and comply with DOT rules.
• Handle multiple stops per day, including pickups, deliveries, and potential returns.
• Provide white glove service for high-value freight with care.
• Interact professionally with customers and maintain high service standards.
• Accurately complete shipping documents, POD, and ELD records.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Communicate route updates and ensure proper cargo staging.
