Titus Transport is hiring a Local CDL A Driver to join our team in Valparaiso, IN. This on-site role offers a home daily schedule and a comprehensive benefits package, with a typical week paying around $1,850 on average.

You will operate local grocery freight routes from the distribution center to stores in Chicago and Northern Indiana, with 5-days-on, 2-days-off, and possible 6th day opportunities.

Competenze

• 24 months recent verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Refrigerated and Dry Van experience highly preferred.
• Acceptable MVR/PSP/Clearinghouse/Background.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, service, and job stability.

Mansioni

• Deliver refrigerated grocery freight from the distribution center to stores in the area.
• Unload and handle goods with electric pallet jack (3–4 stops per load).
• Maintain excellent customer service at each store.
• Comply with safety regulations and DOT guidelines.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure equipment is maintained.

What You'll Do:

Deliver refrigerated grocery freight from the distribution center in Valparaiso, IN to stores throughout the surrounding area

Perform product unloads with an electric pallet jack, averaging 3 to 4 stops per load

Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store

Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines

Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained

What You Bring:
