Job summary

Titus Transport is seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers for local groceries routes centered around Valparaiso and Chicago area. This onsite role offers home daily schedules and a strong benefits package.

You will transport refrigerated groceries from the distribution center to store locations, with 5-day work weeks and optional sixth day. Candidates need 2 years of Class A driving experience, a valid CDL, and a clean safety record.

Qualifications

• 24 months recent verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL & DOT Medical Card.
• Refrigerated and Dry Van experience preferred.
• Acceptable MVR/PSP/Clearinghouse/Background.
• Commitment to safety, service and job stability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated groceries from the distribution center to stores in the area.
• Unload loads with an electric pallet jack, averaging 3–4 stops per load.
• Provide a positive, professional customer experience at each store.
• Comply with company safety rules and DOT guidelines.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure equipment is maintained.

What You'll Do

• Deliver refrigerated grocery freight from the distribution center in Valparaiso, IN to stores throughout the surrounding area
• Perform product unloads with an electric pallet jack, averaging 3 to 4 stops per load
• Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store
• Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained
