Job summary

Titus Transport in Gary, IN is hiring a Local CDL A Driver to transport refrigerated grocery freight from our distribution center to stores across Chicago and Northern Indiana. You’ll work a home-daily, 5-days-on/2-days-off schedule with potential for a 6th day, and benefit from a comprehensive package after 60 days.

You'll operate well-maintained equipment, perform pre-trip inspections, and provide excellent customer service while complying with DOT safety rules.

Qualifications

• 24 months recent verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL & DOT Medical Card.
• Refrigerated and Dry Van experience preferred.
• Acceptable MVR/PSP/Background

Responsibilities

• Deliver refrigerated grocery freight to stores in the surrounding area.
• Perform product unloads with an electric pallet jack.
• Maintain excellent customer service at each store.
• Comply with safety regulations and DOT guidelines.

What You'll Do:

Deliver refrigerated grocery freight from the distribution center in Valparaiso, IN to stores throughout the surrounding area

Perform product unloads with an electric pallet jack, averaging 3 to 4 stops per load

Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store

Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines

Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained

What You Bring:
