Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery in Carneys Point Township, NJ, is seeking a Local CDL A Driver to support furniture delivery operations. You will pick up inventory, load and unload trailers, and move materials within the warehouse to ensure timely, safe deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License
• Previous driving and warehouse inventory experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy furniture
• Able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure a load

Responsibilities

• Pick up inventory at manufacturer’s site and return to hub terminal on a daily basis
• Has overall responsibility for unloading and loading materials from trailers to warehouse
• Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse
• Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance
• Maintains complete paperwork as needed
• Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner
