• Our Delivery Drivers run 3-4 routes per week, are out no more than 42 hours, and make an average of $85,000 per year.

Job Summary:

To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading products according to customer invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed according to established guidelines (e.g., DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports, invoices, damages, shortages).
• Meet food safety protocols, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure proper storage and handling of products.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted.

Certifications & Technical Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Must be insurable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting and delivery practices.
• Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, product delivery.
• Ability to operate tractor-trailers, handle hazardous materials, perform basic math, and work independently.

Physical Demands:

Regularly sit, talk, hear; lift/push/move up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 250 pounds; climb in/out of vehicle; reach, bend, twist; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

Occasional exposure to weather extremes, moving parts, confined spaces; overnight schedule including weekends and holidays; moderate noise level; exposure to high places, fumes, airborne particles.
