Job summary

Sysco is hiring dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route. Drivers build relationships with customers through a positive, friendly attitude and learn customer operations to meet needs and expectations.

Eligible candidates should be 21+, possess a valid Class A CDL, and be able to lift up to 100 lbs as needed. Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing.
• Class A CDL with driving record meeting insurability standards.
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs and records.
• Touch freight and lift 40–60 pounds, up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.
• Build relationships with customers using a friendly, professional attitude and adapt to customer operations.
• Follow Sysco procedures for safety, routes, and delivery documentation.
