Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a dependable local CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and more to customer locations on an assigned route. Build positive relationships with customers and adapt to their operations to meet needs.

Ideal candidates are 21+ years old, able to pass background/drug screening, hold a valid CDL-A with a clean record, and can lift up to 100 pounds as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Lift heavy items up to 100 lbs; occasional push/pull.
• Overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route.
• Provide friendly, professional service and build relationships with customers.
• Follow route schedule and company policies to ensure on-time deliveries.
