Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to provide reliable, on-time deliveries to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other customers in the Mobile area. You’ll unload up to 100 lbs, work with a two-wheeler and ramp, and enjoy home daily with day-shift local routes.

The role requires safety-focused driving, strong customer service, and the ability to read labels and paperwork. CDL A at hire and 21+ years old are required; benefits and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• One year previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.
• High School / Equivalent Preferred; CDL A required at hire.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Presents a positive image through courteous, on-time, accurate deliveries of GFS products.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships and communicate issues to management.
• Operate tractors, trailers, refrigerated vans, and use on-board computer/handheld scanner.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Assist with loading/unloading and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
