Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in Phoenix, AZ to run daily routes, load/unload at stops, and maintain safety and compliance with DOT rules. You will verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and handle any discrepancies while coordinating with the Transportation Department Manager.

Responsibilities include lifting 40–100 lbs, using hand carts, and assisting with loading trucks as needed while maintaining professional customer relations and on-time route performance.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment screening.
• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record meeting minimum standard.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reports.
• Able to lift 40–60 lbs and up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or with a hand cart, and place in designated storage areas.
• Lift/move product weighing 40–100 lbs; stack pallets with a hand cart in all weather.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate errors or returns.
• Call in when a customer does not receive the full order.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and Sysco policies.
